Happy 100th, Oklahoma!

Sunday afternoon, Pete and I went to the Oklahoma Centennial Parade. You can learn more about the Centennial Festivities here. We had a really great time. Here are some of the attractions:

We had a fly-by with the stealth bomber. Pete was most impressed. You really could not hear it coming at all.

This was the first float:

We were close enough to sit in the car during the parade but these people certainly had the best seats in the house.’

The artistic buffalo:

We have several astronauts from OK

The OSU Marching Band

All in all it was a fun time. We went back to my house and I actually cooked a real meal.

There are more photos on my flickr page if you’re interested.
